On Sunday July 12 2009, scores of singers descended on Wellington for a concert celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of one of New Zealand's great cultural institutions, the New Zealand Youth Choir. The choir, which counts some of New Zealand's greatest singers among its alumni, invited past and present members to sing together in a reunion concert in the Wellington Town Hall.
