Wellington Airport is one of New Zealand's three largest airports, handling over 5 million passengers for the year to 31 March 2008. Our airport has a single 1936 metre runway, and we are a major domestic hub in the national transport system, as well as providing services over the sea to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Fiji.
