The Wellington Region Gold Awards (in association with the Dominion Post) are an annual celebration of the area's most successful businesses. Winners this year included the Malaghan Institute (Discovering Gold), Radiola Aerospace (Emerging Gold), the World Mountain Running Championships (Event Gold), Serco Project Engineering (Generating Gold), Icebreaker (Global Gold), Hutt Valley DHB (ACC Thinksafe Workplace Safety Award), Terralink International (Cyber Gold), La Bella Italia (Vibrant Gold), Park Road Post (Creative Gold) and Mana Coach Services (Supporting Gold). The Supreme Award went to Icebreaker NZ Ltd.
