The Wellington Jazz Festival takes place in the Pacific Blue Note Jazz Club, a purpose built venue within Wellington's Town Hall. The Saturday events included a masterclass with Tomasz Stanko, a concert of Mike Nock and Michael Houstoun, a free outdoor big band concert, Bernie McGann and Roger Manins, Dhafer Youssef, and Roberto Fonseca. After midnight, Lauren (L.A.) Mitchell performed with her band.
